The Art & Culture Pathway project, initiated by the Gippsland Education Precinct, aims to achieve the following objectives:-
- Express a unique sense of identity and place for Churchill, reflecting visions of past, present and future
- Enhance and increase local knowledge of arts, Indigenous culture and local history
- Assist in activating the pedestrian linkages between the town centre and the university campus, providing both transition experiences and destinations, and opportunities for physical activity and community participation and
- Build the social, cultural, and creative capacity of the local community through international, national and regional connections.
A concept plan for the project “Making Our Way” has been prepared by Brecknock Consultants and a summary is below
