Monash University Gippsland has sponsored eight industry awards to Outstanding GippsTAFE students in courses which provide a pathway to a degree courses available at Monash.
During the period 16-24 February Monash academic staff attended the Industry Awards nights held at various GippsTAFE campuses to present the awards to the outstanding students.
Each award is worth $250. Eight awards were made in the following categories:
- Outstanding Nursing Student (Leongatha, Warragul & Morwell)
- Outstanding Koorie Studies Student (Morwell) - Sponsored by the Footprints to Higher Education programme
- Outstanding Art Design & Multi Media Student (Yallourn)
- Outstanding Professional Writing & Editing Student (Yallourn)
- Outstanding Information Technology Student (Yallourn)
- Outstanding Accounting Student ( Yallourn)
